Welcome to Feathers African Safaris. By booking a safari, tour, transfer, accommodation, or any other travel service through Feathers African Safaris, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1 Booking Confirmation

A booking shall be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from Feathers African Safaris. All reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.

2 Payments

• A deposit may be required to secure a booking.
• The balance must be paid before the commencement of travel, as specified in the booking confirmation.
• Payments may be made through approved payment methods communicated by Feathers African Safaris.
• Any bank charges or transaction fees incurred shall be borne by the client unless otherwise agreed.

3 Pricing

• Prices are quoted in the applicable currency stated in the itinerary or quotation.
• Prices are subject to change prior to confirmation due to fluctuations in supplier rates, government taxes, park fees, fuel costs, or exchange rates.
• Once a booking has been confirmed and paid according to the agreed terms, prices shall generally remain fixed unless changes are requested by the client.

4 Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility shall depend on:

• The timing of the cancellation.
• Supplier cancellation policies.
• Non-refundable permits, flights, accommodation, or other prepaid services.

Administrative and processing fees may apply. Any approved refund shall be processed within a reasonable period after all supplier adjustments have been finalized.

5 Amendments to Bookings

Clients may request changes to confirmed bookings. Feathers African Safaris will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests; however:

• Changes are subject to availability.
• Additional costs may apply.
• Certain services may be non-amendable.

6 Travel Documentation

Guests are responsible for ensuring they possess:

• Valid passports.
• Required visas.
• Vaccination certificates where applicable.
• Any other documentation required by destination authorities.

Feathers African Safaris shall not be responsible for losses resulting from incomplete or invalid travel documentation.

7 Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests. Coverage should include:

• Medical emergencies.
• Trip cancellation or interruption.
• Personal belongings.
• Emergency evacuation.
• Personal liability where appropriate.

8 Health and Fitness

Guests are responsible for determining their suitability for travel and safari activities. Any medical conditions, dietary requirements, mobility limitations, or special needs should be disclosed before booking so that reasonable arrangements can be considered.

9 Wildlife and Nature Experiences

Safaris take place in natural environments where wildlife movements and sightings cannot be guaranteed. Guests must:

• Follow guide instructions at all times.
• Respect wildlife and local communities.
• Comply with park regulations and conservation guidelines.

Feathers African Safaris cannot guarantee the sighting of specific animal species.

10 Responsibility and Liability

Feathers African Safaris acts as an organizer and coordinator of travel services provided by various independent suppliers. While every effort is made to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the company shall not be liable for losses, damages, delays, injuries, or additional expenses arising from:

• Acts of God.
• Natural disasters.
• Weather conditions.
• Government actions.
• Airline delays or cancellations.
• Political unrest.
• Strikes.
• Supplier failures beyond reasonable control.

Liability shall be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11 Force Majeure

Feathers African Safaris shall not be held responsible for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Extreme weather.
• Floods.
• Earthquakes.
• Epidemics or pandemics.
• Civil disturbances.
• Government restrictions.
• Transportation disruptions.

In such circumstances, reasonable alternatives may be offered where possible.

12 Client Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward:

• Fellow travelers.
• Guides and staff.
• Local communities.
• Wildlife and natural environments.

The company reserves the right to remove any guest whose conduct endangers others or disrupts the travel experience.

13 Photography and Marketing

Photographs or videos voluntarily shared with Feathers African Safaris may be used for marketing purposes unless the guest expressly requests otherwise. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy standards.

14 Complaints

Any concerns arising during travel should be reported immediately to the guide or company representative to allow prompt resolution. Formal complaints should be submitted in writing within a reasonable period following the completion of travel.

15 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tanzania.
